Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications, skills and experience
The Learning Resources department incorporates library and information provision, media services and Blackboard VLE, and collectively supports the teaching, learning and research of the academic community at Regent’s University London.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, adaptable individual to assist our current team in providing an efficient library service to the academic community at Regent’s University. The successful applicant will manage all aspects of the Library Management System including planning and future upgrades. As a team leader, the post holder will manage and co-ordinate the provision, access and promotion of e-resources. Key to their success will be the promotion of our increasing portfolio of e-resources including development of our e-book collection.
They will contribute to development of technology enhanced learning, including e-learning in relation to library services. Working closely with the library team the post holder will be responsible for the provision of staff training and developments in the use of all e-resources and related areas.
The ideal candidate will have extensive and relevant experience working in an academic library along with experience of Library Management Systems. You will possess excellent presentation, training and IT skills and have extensive experience of using electronic resources in a library context.
As a prospective team member you will have excellent communication, organisational skills and up to date knowledge of emerging technologies. A commitment to continuous professional development is essential for this role.
