£33,230 - £38,522 per annum
A Music Technology lecturer is required with expertise in recording studio practice at both theoretical and practical levels. Candidates should be able to demonstrate wide-ranging experience in studios equipped with analogue and digital mixing desks. Proficiency in a range of industry-standard software is expected, e.g. Pro Tools, Logic, Reason, PD, etc.
Specialist areas that may be of interest include: music theory, composition, sound for moving image, spatialization, and acoustics.
You should have a good first degree and a higher degree. Industry experience within the discipline is highly desirable, and the ability to teach in other areas of digital media would be an advantage.
