Salary range: £36,298 - £45,941 per annum

You will be an experienced primary teacher able to demonstrate excellent practice and with evidence of taking a lead in working with others.
We need knowledgeable Primary Education specialists to join our existing Initial Teacher Education (ITE) team where work is changing to include delivery of teaching with a range of school based partners. You will have the subject knowledge and professional expertise to provide inspiring input to students on the ITE programmes in at least one of the following subjects: English, Mathematics or Art. You need an understanding of the current issues in primary education and a personal commitment to learning and teaching.
We are particularly interested in applications from individuals offering further areas of expertise particularly SEND, EAL and Behaviour Management in line with the current Government priorities for ITE.
We are open to full or part time appointments. We are very interested in a joint appoint or secondment arrangement with a local primary school.
Under current UKBA regulations, the University is unlikely to be able to get a work permit in respect of this post. We can therefore only accept applications from people who will have the right to work in the UK for at least one year from the date of appointment.
