Post-Doctoral Research Associate

Salary: £30,424 - £36,298 (Grade 7)

Applications are invited from postdoctoral candidates who have research interests in medieval and/or early modern English drama. The successful candidate will work as Research Associate on the AHRC-funded editorial project Records of Early English Drama North-East (REED-NE) at the Department of English Studies, Durham University. He or she will be expected to have a research profile commensurate with career stage, which will complement the Department’s existing strengths in medieval and/or early modern studies. He or she will also be able to make a contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in accordance with a Research Associateship.

The post is subject to standard probationary terms. Further information will be issued in the contract of employment.

Pension: Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS)

Holidays: 27 working days’ holiday plus statutory holidays, and 4 ‘customary’ holidays, normally allocated to the Christmas break
