Lecturer: Starting salary is normally in the range £37,382 to £44,607. With potential progression once in post to £50,186 a year.

Senior Lecturer: Starting salary is normally in the range £45,941 to £53,233. With potential progression once in post to £69,412 a year

You will be joining an expanding top-rated, multi-disciplinary School of Sport and Exercise Sciences with expertise spanning the natural and social sciences. We conduct world leading research in the sciences of sport, exercise, health and rehabilitation (joint 1st in the last national research assessment exercise). We have strong collaborations within the Colleges of Life and Environmental Sciences, Medical and Dental Sciences, and Social Sciences, and we are developing new collaborations with the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences in the area of rehabilitation robotics. Applications are invited from ambitious researchers who are passionate about growing knowledge in their field, teaching in innovative ways that can inspire students, contributing to the development of the School, and communicating effectively across disciplines and to the wider public.

We are seeking an individual who will contribute to our research expertise in elite sports performance and/or our growing expertise in movement rehabilitation and who can develop Biomechanics within our degree programmes. The appointee will join the Movement Rehabilitation/Motor Control research and teaching group, and will have the opportunity to develop the area of Biomechanics that most closely fits their research expertise.
