Exploring the bilingual ‘catch-up’ among Welsh-English bilingual teenagers in Wales: implications for theory and practice

Applications are invited for a three-year PhD studentship in Bilingualism at Bangor University. This studentship is funded by the Wales ESRC Doctoral Training Centre. The studentship is available from October 1st 2013 (or as soon as possible thereafter).
The studentship is also available on a 1+3 basis (MA+PhD in Bilingualism)

The studentship includes payment of UK / EU level tuition fees, a maintenance allowance of approximately £13,590 and an annual research allowance of approximately £750.
Applicants would normally hold a good first degree or a post-graduate level qualification in Linguistics, Psychology, Education, or a related area.
