Ravensbourne is seeking to recruit a dynamic, creative and innovative Digital Photography educator to teach Digital Photography on all three levels of the undergraduate Digital Photography course. The successful candidate will also be able to contribute to future course developments in this growing area of our provision.
The successful applicant will usually be expected to have a first degree, an appropriate professional qualification or the equivalent proven professional experience using medium format and able to demonstrate significant teaching experience at HE level. A postgraduate qualification is desirable and the readiness to contribute to Ravensbourne’s profile in applied research is essential.
Individuals will be expected to have up to date skills in all aspects of the work of a professional, commercial Digital Photographer, including proven business practice and digital work-flow and especially expertise in all aspects of DSLR video production, multimedia and website design. The knowledge and interest to develop and deliver innovations to the curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods, is necessary.
