In support of its aspirations for the future, the School seeks a new Manager, Advancement to drive the development and implementation of fundraising strategy and provide leadership and direction for fundraising initiatives. The postholder will play a lead role in the articulation and ongoing refinement of the School’s case for support. He or she will also manage important relationships with the Melbourne School of Engineering Foundation Board, as well as other industry leaders.

Your track record in securing major philanthropic gifts from individuals and organisations is matched by your highly developed interpersonal and relationship building skills and the ability to motivate and manage a small team of advancement professionals. You will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team within a complex environment. A strong affinity with and passion for science and technology and the University’s mission, together with an ability to champion this mission both externally and internally will be key.
