Salary: From £23,537 - £26,457 per annum inclusive, with potential to progress to £28,463 per annum inclusive.
LSE is a cosmopolitan community in the centre of London focusing on the study of the social sciences. The department of Information Management and Technology uses a centralised delivery model to provide information technology and communication services to 15,000 staff and student customers. We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to fill a key student support role.
Working with the Student Support Specialists and supervising part-time student staff, the post holder will provide first and second line technical user support to students.
To succeed in this role, you will:
- Have thorough technical knowledge, with the ability to support a broad range of PC and Apple equipment.
- Have excellent communication skills, to effectively convey technical information to users of a variety of backgrounds.
- Be educated to A Level or have equivalent experience.
- Be able to work as part of a team, liaising with colleagues both in IMT and across the School.
