The post is based in the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics which offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in accounting, finance and economics and research in these areas has both an applied and policy orientated focus. Whilst applicants with demonstrable expertise in any of the main areas of accounting are encouraged to apply, preference may be given to those with expertise in one or more of: financial accounting, management accounting or business finance. Preference may also be given to applicants with research outputs eligible for inclusion in REF 2014, possibly as an early career researcher.
The salary scale for posts at the level of Lecturer is £32,285 to £45,967.
All posts are available from 1 September 2013 or as soon possible thereafter.
