The Faculty of Arts & Sciences is a diverse grouping of academic and professional traditions, with a strong sense of identity and a fast-growing reputation for its research and teaching.  A number of openings have arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Faculty. We are particularly keen to continue to build our research capacity, and welcome applications from established researchers or those committed to developing their research careers.

We are seeking to appoint a Professor of Psychology. The appointee will be expected to lead research of an internationally excellent standard, and to contribute to research leadership within the Department of Psychology and within the university as a whole. In addition to producing research outputs of international standing, the appointee will be expected to play a leading role in the acquisition of external research funding,  the mentoring of other staff members in their research careers, and in the supervision of postgraduate research students. The role will also include an appropriate level of contribution to the teaching programmes of the Department of Psychology.
