Research Award in Christian Theology

The Eric and Betty Spencer Award will be made to a postgraduate student undertaking doctoral work for a three year period. The Award will be £1000 per annum, beginning in the academic year 2013-14 and is open to students working in the field of modern Christian theology. Research should be related to the importance of articulating Christianity in the modern world.

The Department of Religion and Theology will judge the Award winner and the recipient will be required to deliver an annual paper related to their research and a copy of the paper along with a brief report will be sent to the donors at the end of every academic year.

This award is open to both Home/EU new students and existing MLitt/PhD students.
