The electrification of transport is a strategic area in our research plans for aeronautical and automotive engineering. In this senior post we are interested in candidates that can strengthen the research capability in automotive propulsion by bringing expertise in the fundamentals of one or more areas from; electrical machines & drives, power electronics, energy storage and management, reliability, hybrid technologies and powertrain integration. Candidates must have an outstanding research record and International profile. The ideal candidate will bring an electrically based background into automotive propulsion and be capable of leading and growing the research area while collaborating across the research groups in Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering more widely.
