The new institute and its centres will serve a number of important functions designed to have a lasting impact on both the academic and non-academic community.

The Institute is offering a Post-doctoral Fellowship for a fixed-term of two years in Advanced Social Science Research Methods. Appointment will be made as a Senior Research Officer. The successful candidate will work with the Head of the Institute for Social Science Data Analysis, to develop research objectives, proposals, and applications for funding for applied quantitative research projects. You will also identify new sources of funding, establish networks, conduct individual and collaborative research projects and contribute to, and present papers at, conferences and workshops.

We are especially interested in candidates who already have experience in survey design, and survey data analysis and work in the field of comparative politics or comparative European integration. Experience in grant writing would be an important bonus. We expect successful candidates to have recently finished their Ph.D. (or be very close to completion) and to already have publications in leading general political science and excellent field journals. Successful candidates will be expected to pursue an ambitious agenda of research and publications.
