Minimum Qualification
Ph.D in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration or a related field

Experience
Considerable academic and professional experience in a related area, including:

  • Teaching and research at the tertiary level.
  • A record of distinguished original work.
  • Good publication record in peer reviewed international journals.
  • Good track record in proposal writing and attracting donor funding will be an asset. Strong partnerships with public/private sector.

Special Expertise / Area of Concentration
Should have expertise in two or more of the following: Knowledge Management and Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship, Technology Transfer and New Venture Creation, Entrepreneurial Finance and Marketing, Family Business Management, Managing Growth and Change

Special Responsibilities
Developing and providing leadership in the subject area on the Campus through high profile research, graduate student supervision, teaching, curriculum development, professional development training, business development activity, support for commericalisation of research and facilitating applications for external research grants.

Personal Attributes
Be a team player and have excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the Campus nationally, regionally and internationally.
