Applications are invited for the above post based at The University of Birmingham in collaboration with the University of Nottingham. This BBSRC funded project will analyse the relationship between gene expression and cell expansion in Arabidopsis. Candidates should hold two A’Levels or equivalent in relevant subjects, plus some relevant technical/scientific experience or have considerable work experience in a relevant technical or scientific role as well as having an interest in plant science. The position involves growth and maintenance of plants in controlled environment chambers, routine molecular biology procedures and daily maintenance of the laboratory.
Hours of work are 18.5 per week and this post will be offered on a fixed-term until 28 February 2016.
