Two full-time appointments

The Department of Strategy and Applied Management, within Coventry Business School, is seeking to appoint two Senior Lecturers in Business/Management. We have ambitious plans for our future and we are seeking dynamic individuals who will help us achieve them. Coventry Business School forms part of the University’s Faculty of Business, Environment and Society, a large and growing part of the University that is experiencing significant new and exciting developments in both teaching and applied research.

We are looking for innovative, flexible staff who understand the changing nature, and demands, of higher education. Responsible for teaching and research, curriculum development and course management, you will support the Department’s activities in undergraduate and postgraduate business education. You will need to demonstrate innovative approaches to teaching and research, ensuring that students engage with their education and emerge with the skills to enhance their employability.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to contribute to teaching and research in one or more of the following areas: management and leadership; business strategy; business ethics; supply chain and logistics; project management; international business. Through your research activities, you will contribute to the Department’s applied research portfolio including preparing bids, developing external networks and supervising research students. You may also be actively involved in promoting the Department and the University in the UK and overseas.

You will need recent teaching experience and a Masters degree (or professional equivalent) in a relevant subject.
