Through the delivery of leadership and direction within the Faculty of Education, we are seeking a Professor who can further enhance our international research profile. The Faculty has both a national and international reputation for the quality of its teaching, learning and research – your challenge will be to take this to a higher level by making an outstanding contribution to both research and teaching strategies, and to the next Research Excellence Framework and beyond.

As a world-leading researcher with an outstanding record of field-defining research, you are expected to work across both Hull and Scarborough campuses, developing new approaches to both research and teaching. In addition to working closely with academic staff to improve research outputs and the supervision ofpostgraduate studies, you should also be willing to make teaching contributions in one or two substantive areas.
