A part-time Catering Assistant is required to help support the catering service of the University. The post will be based within the Commercial Services Section of the Campus and Accommodation Services Directorate.
Commercial Services is responsible for the provision of campus catering services, conference and function facilities and management of the student halls of residences in Cottingham. The Service provides a varied range of catering facilities for both internal and external customers ranging from small corporate meetings to large outdoor exhibitions.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a high quality catering service to staff, students and visitors of the University and will be based primarily on the Cottingham Road campus
The successful candidate will be reliable and organised and able to work under pressure and as part of a team. A good working knowledge gained in a similar environment is desirable, but this is not essential as full training will be given.
The post holder will be required to work 11 hours per week, 26 weeks per year.
Flexibility in working days/hours will be required.
