We are looking for three dynamic academic staff to join our research team at Swansea University. CIPHER is one of four UK Centres of Excellence in electronic health records research, funded by a £19 million investment from ten major research funding bodies in the UK, led by the MRC. CIPHER is a multinational collaboration of e-health researchers led from Swansea University, with investigators from a number of other UK (Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Leicester, Sussex) and overseas universities (Australia: Curtin, Monash, Western Australia; Canada: Ottawa).

We are seeking quantitative scientists with strong track records in publication and grant success to join our team of Epidemiologists, Statisticians, Health Service Researchers, Geographers and Computer Scientists based at Swansea University.

The posts are primarily designed to increase the amount of research activity using linked datasets. Successful applicants will be expected to obtain research grants, supervise doctoral students, and contribute to teaching on the MSc in Health Informatics. Applicants will be encouraged to develop complementary areas of research, collaborating with others within CIPHER and the other three UK Centres of Excellence (based in London, Manchester and Dundee), and contribute to the UK Network of e-Health Informatics Research Centres.
