We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow.

The successful applicant will be working in the laboratory of Professor Martin Hibberd, utilizing human and pathogen genomic information to develop in vitro (and potentially in vivo) molecular understandings of the human - mycobacterium tuberculosis (and possibly other pathogen) interactions.

Candidates should preferably have a working knowledge of genomic approaches and technologies; and have category three infectious agent containment experience.

The post is funded for a period of 3 years and is available from 1st June 2013 until 31 May 2016. Salary is on Academic Pathway Grade 6 from £36,018 to £40,904 per annum inclusive. The successful candidate will be placed on the scales according to skills and experience.
