This post will strengthen the team of staff contributing to the new HND in Sport, PE and Coaching. There will be an opportunity for an appropriate candidate to take leadership responsibilities within the course. The successful candidate will be a specialist in the areas of Sport Studies and Sports Coaching and will be able to deliver at HND and undergraduate level. The post requires substantive teaching from both a theoretical and practical perspective, and all staff are expected to ensure that their teaching is supported by contemporary research and scholarship. Appropriately qualified candidates will contribute to other programmes in the Institute. All staff undertake a number of additional duties and, whilst these are subject to negotiation with the Head of Institute at annual review, they normally include consideration of income generation potential.
