Lecturer in Health and Wellbeing

Grade 8 Salary: £31,948 - £35,938 per annum

We seek to appoint a member of academic staff to join the Division of Service Development and Improvement. Applications are invited from candidates who can contribute to taught programmes and to knowledge transfer activities of the Division. 

The successful candidate will act as module leader on the BSc (Hons) Health Wellbeing and Social Care and teach across other Divisional programmes according to expertise.  We would welcome applicants with experience and qualifications related to health promotion or public health.

You will be able to work as a member of a team and demonstrate an ability to work to tight deadlines.  In-depth knowledge of a discipline relevant to Divisional programmes is essential e.g health promotion, public health.    You may be required to work outside of the University on related teaching and knowledge transfer activities.

Part-time/job share applicants will be considered.  

You must have a first degree in a relevant area related to health care and a Master’s level qualification in a health discipline relevant to the  needs of  the Division of Service Development and Improvement or be working towards this e.g. health promotion, public health.
