Clinical Tutor (Maternity Cover 12 months) Tutor on Increasing access to Psychological Therapies(CBT) Programme    (0.5 FTE)

1-year Fixed-Term Appointment

Salary up to £40,834 per annum (pro-rata) (subject to experience)

Commencing in July 2013

The Psychology Department is looking to recruit a Tutor to contribute to the Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological therapies (CBT) This post is a 1-year Fixed- Term contract and is available from July 2013. The IAPT training programmes have been running at Surrey for the last four years and the post-holder will be joining a team who are energetic and creative in how the national training programme is translated to be accessible to the students needs. As a team there is a commitment to support the local health and social care economy increase access to psychological therapies.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach on the programme, undertake supervision which forms part of the National training contract for High Intensity Practitioners as well as evaluating their academic and clinical competencies and to contribute, as appropriate, to the administration and development of the Training Programme.

Applicants should be a BABCP accredited practitioners, have experience of teaching and evaluating performance as well supervising clinical practice.
