The role You will be our resident expert on printmaking, providing subject team leadership for this pathway within our MA Visual Arts course. It is an opportunity not only to teach our talented students and provide academic guidance, but to lead the development and improvement of this area of the course. You will also manage staff within your pathway, monitor standards of subject delivery and ensure there is open communication across the board. Your aim will be to ensure that every student gets an outstanding experience and a high quality education.

Your profile With a developing and demonstrable research record, you will be regarded as a leading authority in your field. You understand the issues relating to theory, practice and research in design education, and have the ability to lead the development of printmaking within the University. Your expertise will be built on a postgraduate qualification (ideally a PhD) in 3D Design or another Design Maker subject.

Preferably an experienced Design teacher (or willing to undertake teacher training), you will be articulate, able to tackle course administration and assessment, and ready to inspire our students.
