We’ve created a space to inspire students and staff.
The opening of the John Henry Brookes Building on Headington Campus in the autumn of 2013 is a significant milestone in the development of Oxford Brookes University. The building will provide modern teaching and learning spaces and be home to a range of services designed to enhance the experience of studying at Oxford Brookes.
The Building Manager will play a pivotal role in co-ordinating how the building is used, through support for events management and service provision teams. This is not a traditional facilities management role. You will need to use considerable persuasion, flair and initiative to work with stakeholders, occupiers and event managers to ensure that the building is used to its maximum potential.
Maintenance and facilities services will be procured through service level agreements with the Campus Facilities team. You will be responsible for proactively working with occupiers, stakeholders and the corporate events team to ensure that the events are well planned and managed. You will have significant proven experience of managing a large, complex multi-use premises where engagement at all levels and marketing of the building are key success factors.
International applicants from outside the EU will need to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK.
