Applications are invited for up to four Demonstrator/Teacher posts in the School of Physiology & Pharmacology to start in September. The role contributes to the physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience and histology teaching (and teaching related activities) provided by the School of Physiology & Pharmacology within the medical, dental, veterinary science and a range of BSc programmes.
An important aspect of the job is to enthusiastically illustrate the relevance and application of physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience and histology to medicine, dentistry, veterinary science and the biomedical sciences in general through drawing on the role-holder’s recent professional experience, either clinical or postdoctoral. Teaching will mainly involve demonstrating in practical classes (including leading some classes) and leading small group tutorials.
