Lecturer in Fine Arts

£30,424-£35,244 pa (1.0 fte)

As part of the successful development of our Fine Arts BA (Hons) programme, we seek to appoint a qualified academic and artist to a new full-time lecturing position. You will have particular expertise in contemporary questions of practice across any of drawing, painting and printmaking, as well as the ability to support students working across broader approaches to studio practice.

Given the cross-art form nature of our programme, additional interest or experience in other ways of working (e.g. creative digital applications or art in public or social contexts) could be advantageous. You will have, or be close to completing, a Doctoral level qualification or have a Masters in an appropriate subject. You will have some teaching experience in Fine Arts Higher Education appropriate to the role and will be focused on developing a high-quality practice in teaching, learning and research.
