Salary will be on the Institute’s Senior Grades salary scale at a level commensurate with the academic standing of the appointee, plus £2,323 London Allowance per annum.
The appointment will be full time, and a start date of 1 September 2013 is preferred.
Job share will be considered.
The Chair in Vocational Education and Training offers an exceptional opportunity to lead research, thinking and policy development in a critical area. The Institute welcomes applications from exceptional scholars who can build on the IOE’s already distinguished work in this area and who can provide strong academic leadership for vocational education research.
You will be an established academic in the field of vocational education and training with an exemplary research record; able to lead research and research development in the field, to further extend and diversify the learning and teaching consultancy in the field, and to work closely with the head of LCE to strengthen academic synergies in the department.
