The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore, Pakistan, invites applications for tenure track and contract faculty positions in Political Science to begin as early as August 2013. We are seeking candidates with teaching and research interests in Political Theory and /or Public Policy (Government) and/or International Relations. For the Political Theory and Public Policy positions, specialization is open. However, our preferred candidate for the International Relations position should be able to teach critical and historically informed views of contemporary international developments, either at the level of state-to-state relations or in relation to globalization and/or international political economy. Applicants must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and to an active research and publishing agenda.
