Are you a "high flying" early to mid-career researcher? The Mawson Institute is currently recruiting a Senior Research Fellow to establish an independent research profile and provide effective research leadership and management over a broad range of established and new projects. The incumbent will join a dynamic, research rich environment in which industry, research concentrations and academics collaborate to deliver cutting edge solutions to complex conditions.

The Mawson Institute promotes a strategy based upon strong basic and applied research that encourages scientific and technological innovation within the manufacturing sector. Fundamental to this is the Institute’s multidisciplinary approach, building research teams in concentrations that encompass a diverse range of disciplines, and collaboration with partners from both academia and industry.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Physical Sciences, Materials Science, Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering and a trajectory that is consistent with excellence in the areas of research, research supervision, and research leadership including the ability to attract research funds from diverse sources.
