Contract: 1 year fixed term
Accommodation Services manages 5000 residential places for students, staff and visitors at the University of Surrey in Guildford. We are seeking an experienced receptionist to join our busy, friendly team providing excellent service to all our customers.
You will provide a full and comprehensive customer-focused reception and advisory service for Accommodation Services across two sites ¿ at Manor Park and at Stag Hill. The post holder will be the first point of contact for students, staff, visitors and guests, ensuring they are provided with a positive first impression of the service and answering all enquiries in a polite and professional manner. You will be given training about the services we offer and will be required to display a proactive approach in problem-solving skills for our customers.
You must have excellent communication skills, be an excellent computer user (outlook, word and excel in particular) and have a focus on providing superb customer service all whilst operating in our busy reception environments. You will be required to work on a rotational shift pattern that will mean periodical evening and occasional weekend work. The Reception is open 7 days a week, with limited weekend opening times.
