Senior Sports Assistant

Salary: £15,658 - £18,005 per annum +12.5% shift allowance

You will work as part of a team and act as leader for a small group of Sports Assistants, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth, efficient and effective day to day operation of the Sports Development Centre and its activities. 

You must be enthusiastic, self motivated and reliable and possess excellent communication, organisational and customer care skills. The ability to set up and clear away heavy equipment whilst working to tight deadlines is also essential.

You will have GCSE in English and Maths and IT skills to enable you to input and extract data from a computerised booking system. You must have lifeguarding experience and hold a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, or equivalent (supported by proven training record).

You will need to have flexibility and be available to work at weekends and Bank Holidays.
