Research Technician in Vaccine Immunology

We are looking for an enthusiastic Research Technician to join the BIOVACSAFE project (http://www.biovacsafe.eu) at the Surrey Clinical Research Centre. The project aims to develop cutting edge tools to speed up and improve the testing and monitoring of vaccine safety. The post holder will perform cell culture, inhibitor treatment, qRT-PCR and Western blot to validate predictions of computer simulations. The post holder will also be responsible for clinical sample collection and storage, ELISA and ELISPOT based assays, as well as the development of new assays.
Ideally, you will have undergraduate level experience in molecular biology and cell culture. You will have the opportunity to develop your current skills and learn new techniques in molecular and cell biology as part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.
