The School of Teacher Development is building its team to take it forward through the current period of change in higher education in general and teacher education in particular. To emerge as a strong and successful part of that new configuration, TD needs tutors with intelligence, experience, vision, flexibility, resilience and commitment.

From September 2013 the majority of BGU’s secondary ITE provision is through School Direct and the post holder will be expected to take a lead as Professional Co-ordinator in the development of outstanding School Direct ITE. Working alongside an Academic Co-ordinator for secondary PGCE they will work with a range of SD partners to ensure the quality of training. They will also contribute to the professional studies elements of the secondary training programmes and, if possible, contribute to subject specialist elements.
