Part-time Project Administrator

We seek to appoint a Part-time Project Administrator (50% FTE). The post will be based in the Health Economics Research Unit (HERU) which is located within the Division of Applied Health Sciences in the College of Life Sciences and Medicine.

The post holder will be Responsible for managing, co-ordinating and delivering the administrative and financial functions required to deliver the MUNROS European Commission Project within the agreed timetable. This will include providing high level administration support to meet the contractual obligations of the EC-funded MUNROS research project (€3m), on behalf of the project co-ordinators the local project team, and the nine partner organisations in the UK and Europe.

The project involves nine partners from the UK and Europe and this post will be crucial to the success of the project. You will have a strong influence on the ability to create a strong team spirit and work ethic across the projects’ collaborative network.

As this post is funded by the European Union it will be available until 30 September 2016.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 5 scale (£25,504 - £28,685 per annum pro rata), with placement according to qualifications and experience.

This post is not on the current "shortage occupation" list and does not meet the minimum qualification requirements as issued by the Border and Immigration Agency therefore it will not qualify for a work permit.  Unfortunately we are unable to consider applications from candidates for this post who require a work permit to work in the UK.
