Full Time The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £28,338 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Applications are invited for a Research Assistant based in the Research Department of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology at UCL’s Royal Free Campus. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of a research project that will use ex vivo and cell culture techniques to investigate the role of the small intestine in the regulation of phosphate homeostasis.
The post is funded for 12 months by the St Peter’s Trust for Kidney, Bladder and Prostate Research in the first instance and is available immediately.
Applicants must have, or be about to complete, a BSc or equivalent, in a relevant subject area. You must possess excellent organisational, presentation and communication skills, and be enthusiastic and highly motivated. Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment, with practical experience of cell culture or in vivo experimentation is desirable.
