The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £32,375 - £39,132 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The Assistant Sustainability Manager (Carbon & Projects) is a role reporting to the UCL Head of Environmental Sustainability. UCL is implementing a major environmental sustainability programme and this post will play a significant role in supporting this programme.
The role will compliment the work of the Sustainability Manager (EMS and BREEAM) and the Sustainability Manager (Energy & Water) in delivering their aims to drive the UCL’s carbon management plan and integrate sustainability into UCL’s major refurbishment programme – two critical elements in the UCL environmental sustainability strategy.
Applicants should possess a formal qualification and professional work experience in an environmental/sustainability related discipline. Further training in carbon management, or sustainable design and construction, is essential. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a strong customer focused approach are very important.
