Professorship in B2B Marketing Management

The Department of Business Administration at Aarhus University, Business and Social Sciences, invites applications for a Fixed-term Professorship in B2B. The successful candidate is expected to take up appointment as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate should have a strong research record in one of the following areas:

Initiation, organization, management and further development of B2B exchange nationally as well as internationally. Especially, we welcome candidates with expertise within:

• Industrial marketing management
• Sourcing and supply chain management
• Buyer-seller relationships
• Industrial Buying behavior

The candidate is expected to undertake teaching responsibilities within the mentioned research areas, and to be involved in course and study programme development at the Department.

Applications for fixed term professorship as well as ordinary professorships will be considered.

The fixed-term professorship is limited to a maximum period of five years. Both positions include research and teaching obligations within the subject area. The successful applicant is expected to participate in all main activities of the department such as seminars, workshops, exams and supervision of students as well as to undertake administrative and organisational tasks.

The temporary professorships may by mutual agreement be combined with a recessive associate professorship. Accordingly, this is hereby advertised with the accession of the temporary professorships expiry.

Qualification requirements
Applicants should have a strong academic background and qualifications must be documented by a number of published contributions of international standard, including proposals for future research in the field. Demonstrated ability to organize and manage research as well as strong teaching qualifications would be desirable.

Permanent employment as an associate or full professor at School of Business and Social Sciences requires completion of the supervision course provided by the Centre for Learning and Education at Business and Social Sciences. In case the candidate has not completed the course before commencement of employment, continued employment will be conditional on prompt completion of the supervision course (Center for Undervisning og Læring).
