Marketing Executive (Teacher Recruitment)

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join a lively team within the Education and Science Directorate at the IOP to assist in the Institute’s work in teacher recruitment and retention, particularly in supporting Initial Teacher Education (ITE).

The Institute, working with the government and other partners, has enjoyed considerable success in recent years in increasing physics teacher recruitment to record levels, and we are looking for a lively and ambitious person to take this work forward. The post holder will manage the Education (Schools and Colleges) Department’s marketing campaigns for recruitment into Initial Teacher Education (ITE), and in particular the IOP Scholarships campaign.  The post holder will be responsible for a range of marketing channels- direct marketing, social media, print, and online.

A marketing degree, or another degree and a recognised equivalent marketing qualification is essential, as is experience of a previous role in marketing. Some experience of managing projects and budgets is preferable.
