Applications are invited for the post of Information Consultant in Library Services.
As an information consultant within the Library’s Academic Liaison team, you will take a lead role in providing services, support and advocacy to the college. Key roles will include creation and delivery of engaging information literacy training, building effective working relationships between a range of academic departments and the Library and efficient collection management.
As an information professional, you will have experience of providing strong user-focused services, ideally within an academic institution. You will have a clear understanding of the issues facing HE and the role that the library has to play in this area. You will be an enthusiastic and innovative teacher. You will have a keen interest in continuing to develop and promote the role of the library at all levels of the College.
The ideal candidate will have a first degree in an academic discipline, and a post graduate degree or diploma in Librarianship or Information Science.
This is a full time and permanent post, immediately available or as soon as possible thereafter. This post is based in Egham, Surrey, where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
