Teaching Fellow in Business Psychology

Full Time: The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £36,064 - £39,132 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The UCL Division of Psychology and Language Sciences is one of the largest such departments in the UK with over 100 members of academic staff and their teams conducting internationally-recognized research across the field, including cognitive psychology, social and cognitive neuroscience, industrial-organisational and business psychology, and decision sciences. The Division also has an excellent and broad program of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The BSc programme in Psychology is a very popular course that attracts high-calibre students.
The post holder will provide teaching, supervision, and examining, and related administration, in industrial-organisational and business psychology at postgraduate level. The post holder will contribute primarily to the department’s MSc in Industrial-Organisational and Business Psychology.
The successful candidate must have a Masters Degree/PhD in psychology or a related field. The successful candidate should be able to present and summarise scientific research findings in at least one main area of business psychology (e.g., talent management, organisational behaviour, consumer psychology, etc.) to undergraduate and postgraduate students and to scientific peers, with a proven record to conduct high quality research. The post holder must have specialist knowledge of a relevant area of research in business psychology, as well as excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. The successful candidate will also have some applied experience, either working in, or consulting to, non-academic organisations. Commercial experience in an area of talent management or consumer marketing is strongly desirable.
