Brunel Business School is well on track to becoming a leading European Business School, as demonstrated by its position in the top 7 best Business Schools in London (The Complete University Guide, The Sunday Times University Guide 2013, The Times Good University Guide 2013, and the Guardian University Guide 2013). The School has recently moved into a prestigious new dedicated building which offers state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities to all staff, doctoral and MBA students. Together with the strong commitment to achieving triple accreditation (AMBA, AACSB and EQUIS), a vibrant research culture and six internationally recognized research centres, this new environment makes the School highly distinctive.

As part of the plan to enhance student experience and research capabilities, Brunel Business School seeks to attract enthusiastic academics with excellent research and/or teaching profiles to enhance the School’s reputation through research, world class academic publications, effective student engagement in learning and employability.

Due to new teaching and research developments, we wish to hear from applicants keen to make a contribution to the further expansion of Brunel Business School.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which currently includes the following range: financial accounting, management accounting, accounting information systems, auditing, taxation, strategic financial management and corporate business finance. Applicants should have a relevant doctorate (or be close to obtaining one), and a research profile commensurate with the length of their career.

The School is committed to making a significant investment in the recruitment of staff in Accounting and in supporting their research and teaching efforts. AARC offers a collegiate and collaborative environment for the conduct of nationally and internationally relevant research projects examining contemporary issues in accounting.
