Content of work
- Teaching Responsibility - Teaching classes of EU Studies (society and culture) that aim to foster EU experts at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful applicant will teach approximately six 90-minute classes (fifteen weeks for each) per year in total at the Faculty of Intercultural Studies, and Graduate School of Intercultural Studies of Kobe University.
- Other duties - Assisting the University’s activities including the development of overseas liaison of our School. The successful applicant will not be a member of the faculty meeting.

Qualifications
- Near Native speaker of EU official languages
- PhD or Master’s degree in EU Studies (society and culture) or its related area
- Ability of teaching classes of EU Studies (society and culture) in English language without difficulty
Treatment
- Work hours and payment will be based on the University regulations.
- Salary system: annual salary system
- Salary range: up to JPY 10,000,000 (before tax), subject to previous research and teaching career (non-negotiable)
- Apart from the salary, transfer allowance, some research expense and commuting allowance are provided.
- Paid leave: up to 20 days a year
