The College wishes to recruit an Experimental Officer to support, maintain and enhance the Vibration Engineering Section, teaching laboratories and associated activities.
This permanent post is available immediately.
The post holder will form part of the team providing research and teaching laboratory support across the college and will require independent working within the desired skill set.
The post is likely to suit either a senior technician or professional engineer. The successful applicant will have experience in electronics and instrumentation engineering, production and maintenance.
An ability to design, modify and construct teaching and experimental equipment of all disciplines and scale will be necessary.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a genuine and enthusiastic desire to engage with our research and teaching commitments. This post will provide frontline technical support within the engineering laboratories.
The post requires a broad knowledge and competency of electronics, instrumentation and IT facilities.
There will be a requirement for UK domestic and international travel on occasion.
