Two skilled mechanical technicians are required for Loughborough University’s prestigious Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering Workshops.
The successful candidates will join a team of technicians providing support in the mechanical workshop for the design, development, construction, manufacture and repair of equipment for teaching and research activities. You will use a range of manual and CNC machines as well as welding and woodwork machinery amongst others. You will be required to use your skills and experience to manufacture, modify and maintain equipment within the dedicated facility. You will join an experienced team working with high profile academics in their field and with students and research staff.
