University Lecturership in Experimental Psychology

Salary: £43,312 - £58,157 p.a.

Applications are invited for a University Lecturership in Experimental Psychology. This position would be held within the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford, leading to a permanent academic post upon the successful completion of a probationary period. A Tutorial Fellowship at Magdalen College is associated with this position. An £11,000 p.a. taxable and pensionable college housing allowance and other benefits are available in addition to the stated salary.

The principal duty will be to establish and lead a world-class research programme in the applicant’s core area of research. The department is seeking to appoint to add strength to its research grouping in psychological disorders.

The successful applicant will have an international reputation for research and scholarship, and will contribute to and benefit from a full role in the academic life of the Department of Experimental Psychology and of Magdalen College. He/she will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide excellent teaching to high-achieving and challenging undergraduates and postgraduate students.
