The Faculty of Education is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to lead its extensive and 'outstanding' Initial Teacher Training Programmes at Crewe and Didsbury campuses. In particular, the role will focus on Quality Assurance and Ofsted preparations in the light of the new framework. Leadership of new routes in teacher training, namely School Direct, will also be a significant aspect of the post.
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Department for ITT Programmes. In addition, the post holder will strategically lead cross-faculty developments in Teaching and Learning.
