Job Summary

Fixed term for 12 months, from 1 August 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter

The School seeks to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer in Moral and Political Philosophy. It arises from the award of a British Academy Mid-Career Fellowship to Dr Ulrike Heuer.

Your duties will include research, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, thesis supervision and some non-teaching administrative duties. You will have a research record and teaching experience that are commensurate with career stage.

With a completed PhD in a subject related to Moral and Political Philosophy by the commencement of the position, you will have the ability to make an outstanding contribution to the research activities of the Centre for Ethics and Metaethics, and to the research life of the School of PRHS in general.

Please upload at least one sample of your research that has either already been published, or that will be published by December 2013.
