Starting salary is normally in the range £45,941 to £53,233. With potential progression once in post to £69,412 a year.

We are now investing in the Business Engagement team and are looking for talented individuals to take our already successful business partnerships to the next level whilst identifying and growing new opportunities that will have a real impact on the University and on business.
We are now looking for a Head of Business Engagement Partners to lead a team of 6 and to work with the College of Arts and Law.
You will have an unwavering belief in the role Universities play in the regeneration of the region and the UK and a proven track record of managing teams, developing strategy and working at the highest levels within an organisation. Passionate, target-driven, creative, skilled at motivating others and experienced in developing mutually beneficial relationships, you will be excited by working as the interface between the University and business ensuring both parties benefit from amazing research opportunities, increased student work placements and much more.
As Head of Business Engagement, you will work with each of your College Business Engagement Partners to develop a College-specific strategy to meet their individual needs. Together your team will be responsible for raising significant levels of income and maximising the potential for business and commercialisation opportunities to impact across the University. Your success will make a direct contribution to the institution’s intention to become a major global higher education provider, advance its reputation and integrate this with business.

The University is situated on a beautiful 250 acre parkland campus with excellent transport links including our own rail station; by train we are around 1 hr 45 from London and around 2 hrs from Manchester.
